Farm Experience

Welcome to the Farm

Wild Oak Therapeutic Farm is about connection. A connectedness to nature and oneself.

I strongly believe the natural environment allows an individual to breathe and heal. The move towards therapy within a natural environment is based on scientific evidence.

Some may call it magical, and others call it a wild ride. Wild Oak Therapeutic Farm is a place where you are welcomed into the daily ongoings; more importantly, you are encouraged to slow down, breathe, and be present. Individuals get to participate in caring for the animals, the land and challenge themselves to do something they don't do every day.

Research shows that being IN nature positively affects a person's psychological wellbeing, regulating emotions and calming the nervous system.

For each person, the therapeutic experience will be different; it may look like sitting under the oak trees, walking the trails made by deer, interacting with the animals, planting gardens, using the natural elements to create your own world, or digging for worms.
